Julie Bullock

Senior Generosity Strategist
GENERIS

Julie is a senior generosity consultant with Generis, a team of professionals who coach and influence churches and other faith-based organizations across the country in generosity development. She has led over 300 major giving campaigns for churches and organizations of all sizes and worship styles all across the country, with campaign sizes ranging in $1M to over $100M. Prior to joining Generis in 2009, Julie was the pastor for stewardship and generosity at Community Christian Church, a multisite church with 10 campus locations in the Chicagoland area and has also served on multiple boards of church planting organizations as a generosity coach to new church plants and current church leaders.

Julie also previously served as the director of development for Wheaton College, leading a team of advancement professionals in a $160 million capital campaign and has strong experience in gift planning and charitable estate planning, earning her CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) in 2010.

FUN FACT ABOUT JULIE

Julie, her husband Jud, and their daughter Jayma reside in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area, where Jud raises beef cattle and where they both are involved in their church — of which Julie serves on the board. They are passionate about the local church and seeing the mission of God advanced through His people!

Ben Cachiaras

Lead Pastor
MOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Ben is from Minnesota, ministered in Tennessee, and has served since 1997 as Lead Pastor with Mountain Christian Church near Baltimore, Maryland. Ben is a graduate of Crossroads College and Emmanuel Christian Seminary where he is a Doctor of Ministry candidate. Ben has served on Boards for Emmanuel Christian Seminary, Milligan College, Standard Publishing as well as Contributing Editor with Christian Standard and President of the North American Christian Convention. He is the co-founder of MOVE Northeast, a church planting network, and is a Board member for Spire network and Stadia Church planting.

Mountain is a multi-site, multi-ethnic fast-growing church focused on reaching the unchurched. Four physical campuses and a digital online ministry reach thousands every week. A brand new campus was launched on Easter 2021 in conjunction with THE EPICENTER, a community center for ministry outreach with aimed at changing the trajectory of under-resourced children and their families.

Ben and his wife Karla, have three awesome children, Nathan (married to Abigail), Andrew, and Ellie. He has an irrational devotion to his Minnesota Vikings, bats around a lot of tennis balls, loves pickleball and remembers when he did more rock climbing. Most of all, he loves his family, has a passion for preaching and leadership, and wants to build Jesus-shaped communities that draw people to the love of God.

FUN FACT ABOUT BEN

Ben had four weird jobs in college: 1. Volleyball referee; 2. Page in the Mayo Clinic medical library (that means he shelved books and ran errands for doctors); 3. Custodian at a women’s clothing store (got the job from Tom Moen); 4. Semi-professional magician.
